After music and theater, Dislog Group has decided to position its image in the world of sports by launching the Dislog Group Open Tour de Golf. The aim of this annual golfing competition is to introduce partners to a new golf course each year in a different city of the Kingdom, according to a group press release.
And to mark the occasion, Dislog Group, through its Foundation, has signed a sponsorship agreement with 10-year-old Ilyana Belkhayat, already 2-time Moroccan Golf Champion, Champion of the USKids Rome Classic, a major tournament on the USKids circuit, and one of the world's best players in her category, we report.
Ilyana is passionate about golf. She started playing at the age of five and has a long list of achievements to her name: double Moroccan champion in 2022 and 2023, winner of all 6 stages of the FEDERAL Junior Tour in 2023 and still in contention for a second consecutive grand slam in 2024. She has also won several international USKids tournaments, including the Rome Classic in 2023.
This year, Ilyana will represent Morocco at two of the Grand Slams of World Junior Golf: the USKids European Championship in Scotland at the end of May and the World Championships at Pinehurst in the USA, a benchmark tournament which she will be playing in for the second year running, concludes the press release.
