ANDALUSSYAT: A RAMADAN-FLAVORED INAUGURAL EVENING (VIDEO)

The inaugural evening of the Andalussyat festival for the holy month took place in a festive Ramadan atmosphere. Andalusian music fans were treated to a host of "Al Ala" stars. Abderrahim Souiri, Mohammed Briouel, Nour Eddine Tahiri, Ali Rebbahi and Mohammed El Touhami El Harraq delighted the packed Carré d'or.

"This evening is special because we're lucky enough to have Mohammed Briouel's great orchestra and Ali Rebbahi's group with us," said Azeddine Kettani, President of the Association des amateurs de musique andalouse au Maroc (AAMAM).

As a reminder, Dislog Group is the official sponsor of the Andalussyat festival via the Dislog Foundation, which takes a keen interest in the preservation and promotion of Morocco's cultural heritage.
