This year, Dislog Group makes its debut in the Global 500 ranking, published by Economy Business and Kompass. The 22nd edition of the ranking of the 500 largest Moroccan companies revealed this well-deserved success story, placing it 76th with sales of 1.8 billion dirhams in 2022.
In the "Retail" category of the ranking, Dislog Group is ranked 4th, after such behemoths as Marjane Holding, LabelVie and Samsung. Founded and chaired by Moncef Belkhayat, Dislog Group has established itself in the logistics and retail sectors.
But what really sets it apart is its ability to evolve and adapt over time. The company made the strategic choice to diversify its activities by investing in the industrial sector, and the transition from distribution to industry proved to be a natural step for Dislog Group. In 2018, the Group began this transformation by acquiring its first factory in Mohammédia.
This plant, specialized in the production of bleach under the ACE brand and other liquid hygiene products, is now known as Hygiénique Moderne Industries (HMI). The Group's expansion continued in 2019 and 2020 with the integration of two further industrial units. The first is dedicated to the manufacture of paper hygiene products, such as handkerchiefs, paper towels and toilet paper. The second unit is dedicated to the production of liquid hygiene products, including floor cleaners, washing-up liquid, laundry detergent and many others.
These industrial activities were grouped together in the Mohammédia industrial complex, consolidating Dislog Group's presence in the Moroccan industrial sector. But the transformation didn't stop there. The Group recently made a major shift by investing in the healthcare sector.
In February 2022, Dislog Group acquired the Kosmopharm laboratory (KPH). This acquisition paved the way for a series of other integrations, including the Steripharma pharmaceutical laboratory and the Somapharma pharmaceutical promotion company, giving birth to "Dislog Health Care".
This new cluster, encompassing both the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries, has set itself some ambitious targets. Starting next year, it aims to rank among the top 20 laboratories in Morocco, with a target of being among the Top 10 by 2025. This expansion into the healthcare sector confirms the Dislog Group's determination to diversify its activities and become a key player in multiple fields.
Today, Dislog Group is recognized as a brand developer and gas pedal, with an impressive portfolio of over 100 brands. The Group's continued growth bears witness to its ability to seize opportunities, evolve with agility and invest in key sectors of the economy. Dislog Group also plans to enter a new phase of growth, with an IPO scheduled for the first half of 2025.
