In a press release issued on Friday, the Dislog Group announces the signing of a MAD 70 million financing agreement with Bank of Africa, to support the Dislog Group Health Care development plan.
"This contract is syndicated with the EBRD, which has committed 270 million dirhams to finance the acquisition of Steripharma, Somapharma and Africare (specializing in the manufacture and marketing of medical devices)," says the press release.
Dislog Group will thus own 100% of the 5 Dislog Group Health Care subsidiaries, we are informed.
"After signing with the EBRD, we are very pleased to consolidate our relationship with Bank of Africa, enabling us to become a major player in the healthcare sector, which will cross the 500 MDH threshold by the end of 2023. We will continue to invest in the healthcare sector as a strategic development axis for Dislog Group, with the aim of doubling in size in the coming months", said Moncef Belkhayat, CEO of Dislog Group.
The transaction was facilitated by Bank of Africa's Structured Finance team, headed by Othman Nasri (under the aegis of the Investment Platform represented by Mehdi Drafate) and Dislog Group's Finance team headed by Zakaria Jerrari.
Dislog Group Health care is the Dislog Group business unit created in July 2023. It now comprises 5 structures: Laboratoires Kph, Steripharma, Dislog santé, Africare and Somapharma. Dislog Health Care, chaired by Amine Tahiri, employs 320 people and generates sales of over 500 million DH.
