The KALINE prize was awarded this evening in Tigmiza to Imane Bamouss, winner of the Young Talents competition at Caftan Week 2024, at the end of an exciting competition between the eight finalists.
It's a crowning achievement for the young designer who, surrounded by friends and family, wins her ticket to the Grand Défilé Caftan Week 2025, along with the Kaline Prize and financial support worth 30,000 dirhams.
Initiated by Caftan Week 2024 partner Laboratoires KPH, a dermo-cosmetic brand of highly effective skincare products, the Kaline Prize aims to support and encourage the new generation of designers who perpetuate the ancestral and heritage art of the Caftan, while enriching it with their creativity and vision.
A challenge met with flying colors by all the participants, under the watchful eye of jury members Meriem Boussikouk, Abdelhanine Raouh and SiMohamed Lakhdar. Alongside Imane Bamouss, Marwa Aboud, Kenza Abousserhane, Mouad Chafai, Yasmine El Jirary, Soumaya Hajjaj, Said Illy and Asmaa Marzouk delighted the audience with their creations, bringing to a close an exciting adventure lasting several weeks of mentoring and coaching.
