The French Competition Council has been notified of an economic concentration concerning the acquisition by "Dislog Group SA" of sole control of "Fromagerie de l'Atlas SARL". According to a press release issued by the Conseil de la Concurrence, the transaction involves the acquisition of 51% of Fromagerie de l'Atlas's capital and related voting rights.
"Dislog Group SA is a public limited company incorporated under Moroccan law, active in the investment sector and holding stakes in subsidiaries operating mainly in the pharmaceutical and industrial sectors.
"Fromagerie de l'Atlas SARL" is a limited liability company under Moroccan law, active in the purchase, sale and manufacture of all cheese, dairy and food products.
With this acquisition, Moncef Belkhayat's Dislog Group continues its strategy of external growth and diversification. Last July, the group announced the acquisition of 75% of Megaflex, a company specializing in the distribution and maintenance of automated systems and reagents for medical analysis laboratories. Prior to this, in April, the Group acquired all shares in CMB Plastique from the Mutandis group for MAD 330 million.
